Belt deviation is the most common fault when the belt conveyor is running. We should pay attention to the dimensional accuracy of installation and daily maintenance. There are many reasons for deviation, which need to be treated differently according to different reasons.
1. Adjust the bearing roller set of the belt conveyor
In the middle of the whole belt conveyor running deviation can adjust the position of the idler set to adjust the deviation; During manufacturing, the mounting holes on both sides of the idler set are processed with long holes for adjustment. Which side the belt is inclined to, which side of the idler set moves forward in the direction of belt forward, or the other side moves backward. If the belt runs off in the upward direction, the lower position of the idlers should move to the left, and the upper position of the idlers should move to the right
2. Install the self-aligning idlers of the belt conveyor
There are many types of self-aligning idlers, such as middle rotating shaft type, four connecting rod type, vertical roller type, etc., which use the block or idlers to roll in the horizontal plane to block or generate transverse thrust to make the belt automatically centripetal to adjust the belt deviation. In general, the total length of the belt conveyor is short or the belt conveyor two-way operation using this method is more reasonable, the reason is that the shorter belt conveyor is more easily run off and not easy to adjust.
3. Adjust the position of the driving drum and the reversing drum of the belt conveyor
The adjustment of driving drum and reversing drum is an important part of belt deviation adjustment. Because a belt conveyor has at least 2 to 5 drums, the installation position of all drums must be perpendicular to the belt conveyor length direction of the Central Line, if the deflection is too large must occur deviation. The adjustment method is similar to that of adjusting idlers. For the head of the drum such as the belt to the right side of the drum running deviation, the right side of the bearing seat should move forward, the belt to the left side of the drum running deviation, the left side of the bearing seat should move forward, the corresponding can also move the left side of the bearing seat or the right side of the bearing seat.
4. Adjustment of the tension of the belt conveyor
The adjustment of the belt tension is a very important part of the deviation adjustment of the belt conveyor. In addition to the belt length direction, the two reversed rollers at the upper part of the tension point of the heavy hammer should be perpendicular to the gravity perpendicular line, that is, to ensure that the Central Line of the shaft is horizontal.
5. The influence of blanking position at the transfer point of the belt conveyor on the deviation of the belt
The blanking position of the material at the transfer point has a great influence on the deviation of the belt, especially when the projection of the two belt machines is vertical on the horizontal plane. Usually, the relative height of the two belt conveyor should be considered at the transfer point. The lower the relative height, the greater the horizontal velocity component of the material, the greater the lateral impact on the lower belt, and the material is difficult to center. The material on the belt cross section is deflected, resulting in the belt running deviation.
6. Deviation adjustment of two-way running belt conveyor
The adjustment of the two-way running belt conveyor belt deviation is more difficult than the adjustment of the one-way belt conveyor belt deviation. In the detailed adjustment, one direction should be adjusted first, and then the other direction should be adjusted. When adjusting, carefully observe the relationship between the belt movement direction and the deviation trend, and adjust one by one.
